Everyone knows what Cordyceps is, right? It is a precious medicinal material, and its full name is Cordyceps sinensis. In traditional Chinese medicine, there is a medicinal material called Cordyceps sinensis. It is not Cordyceps sinensis, but cicada fungus. So what is the effect of wild cicada fungus? According to traditional Chinese medicine, wild cicada fungus is very helpful in resisting tumors and regulating the nervous system, and can help people treat diseases. Pharmacological Action 1. Anti-tumor effect: Anti-tumor effect, cicada fungus can prevent cancer cells from spreading and metastasizing by improving the patient's immunity. Director Lu Di of the "China Cancer Treatment Protection Network" and authoritative oncology experts at home and abroad believe that the root cause of cancer is the patient's decreased immunity. The immune system is the body's own natural barrier that can produce immune protection against cancer and other factors to maintain the body's physiological balance and stability. For patients receiving radiotherapy and chemotherapy, it can improve their tolerance to the toxicity of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, eliminate the severe pain unique to cancer, reduce or eliminate the side effects such as leukopenia, hair loss, loss of appetite, vomiting, etc. caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy, improve cachexia, improve the quality of life and prolong life. Galactomannan polysaccharide also has anti-tumor effects. 2. Central nervous system regulation: Intraperitoneal injection of natural cicada fungus or artificial cultured dilute alcohol extracts into mice can significantly reduce their spontaneous activities, prolong the sleep time caused by sodium pentobarbital and chloral hydrate, and increase the sleep rate of mice given subthreshold hypnotic doses of sodium pentobarbital; it can also prolong the latency time of convulsions in mice induced by central nervous system stimulants strychnine and pentylenetetrazol. The chemical stimulation method and the hot plate method have proved that both have significant analgesic effects. Intraperitoneal injection into normal and yeast-induced febrile rats had a significant cooling effect. Other data further prove that cicada fungus and its artificial culture have obvious analgesic, sedative and antipyretic effects. 3. Toxic side effects: The acute toxicity experiment showed that when mice were gavaged with 60g/kg of natural cicada fungus ethanol extract and observed for 72 hours, none of the 20 mice died. After administration, the animals only had reduced activities, which returned to normal after 24 hours. The LD50 of intraperitoneal injection is 12.5±2.1g/kg, and the toxic reactions are writhing, decreased activity, difficulty breathing and even death. Subacute toxicity experiments showed that three groups of rats were given oral administration of 1g/kg, 3g/kg, and 9g/kg for 28 consecutive days. The results showed that there were no abnormal changes in the animals' blood routine, liver, kidney function, and electrocardiogram. No obvious abnormal changes were found in pathological examinations of important organs such as the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys. |
