[Source] It is a fatty oil obtained by pressing the mature seeds of Camellia oleifera Abel., a plant of the Theaceae family. The fruits are picked in autumn, dried, the seeds are beaten out and processed to obtain oil.

【Original form】 Shrub or small tree. The branches are slightly hairy, the bark is yellowish brown, and the buds have loose scales and are slightly hairy. The leaves are alternate, leathery, elliptical or elliptical-rectangular, 4-10 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, gradually pointed at the apex, broadly cuneate at the base, with small serrations on the edges, shiny on the surface, sparsely hairy when young, and with inconspicuous lateral veins; the petiole is about 6 mm long and hairy. The flowers are white, solitary or co-articulated at the top of branches, sessile; the flower diameter is about 4 cm; the sepals are round and covered with silky hairs on the outside; the petals are 5 to 7, obovate, 2.5 to 4.5 cm long, deeply 2-lobed at the apex, sparsely covered with hairs on the outside; there are many stamens; the ovary is densely covered with silky hairs, the style has 3 shallow lobes at the top and hairs at the base.
