The spike inflorescence is drooping, the inflorescence axis is glabrous, the bracts are ovate or ovate-lanceolate, more than 15-30cm long, falling off, purple-red on the outside and dark red on the inside, each bract has two rows of flowers, and the male flowers fall off; the tepals are yellow-white, the connate tepals are 4-6.5cm long, the free tepals are about half the length of the connate tepals, are transparent and waxy, shiny, oblong or nearly round, with a small tip, a cone tip or curled into a sac at the tip.
