Inflorescence paniculate, terminal or axillary; bracts oblong, ciliate; pedicels slender, densely covered with red glandular hairs; flowers light pink; perianth deeply lobed into 5 parts, stamens 8, shorter than perianth; styles 3. Achenes are spherical, yellowish brown, shiny, and completely enclosed in the persistent perianth. The flowering period is from May to July, and the fruiting period is from August to October.
