[Source] Medicinal material source: The rhizome of Pseudotum corymbiferum, a plant of the Polypodiaceae family.

【Original morphology】 Plant height 15-20cm. The rhizome is long and horizontal, densely covered with reddish-brown, lanceolate scales at the base of the petiole, gradually pointed at the apex, broad and shield-shaped at the base, and with eyelashes on the edges. Leaves are distal; petioles are 7-10cm long, straw-colored, smooth; leaf blades are papery, yellow-green, triangular, 7-10cm long, 10-12cm wide, and deeply pinnately fissured almost to the rachis; pinnae are 5-7, opposite, a pair of flat at the base, each lobe slightly oblique upward, oblong-lanceolate, the pair at the base is the largest, 5-7cm long, 1.5-2cm wide, gradually pointed, with sharp sparse teeth and white membranous narrow edges on the edges; lateral veins are obvious, oblique upward, and the veinlets are reticular, with small veins hidden in the mesh. The sporangium is elliptical, arranged in a row on each side of the midrib, and attached to the junction of the fine veins.
