[Source] Coniogramme japonica (Thunb.) Diels, a plant of the genus Coniogramme in the family Gymnospermaceae , is used as medicine using its rhizome and the whole plant . It can be harvested in all seasons, washed, and used fresh or dried.

【Functions and indications】 Dispel wind and dampness, promote blood circulation and relieve pain, clear away heat and detoxify. It is used for rheumatic pain in muscles and bones, traumatic injuries, abdominal pain due to blood stasis, amenorrhea, red and swollen face, initial stage of swelling and pus, and mastitis.
