[Original form] Fusong Aconitum, perennial herb, about 1m tall. The stem is smooth or sparsely covered with short procumbent hairs, with branches at the top. Leaves are alternate; stem leaves above the middle have short petioles, 0.3-3cm long; leaf blades are round pentagonal, 4-9cm long, 4.5-11cm wide, 3-partite, central lobes are ovate-rhombus, pinnate-shaped, terminal lobes are narrowly lanceolate or linear, 2-3mm wide, lateral lobes are unequally 2-partite, with short pubescent hairs on the upper side and glabrous beneath. The raceme is slightly corymbose, with 8-11 flowers, and the inflorescence axis is glabrous; the pedicel is 3.5-8cm long, with short soft hairs spreading above the middle; the bracteoles are born below the middle of the pedicel, lanceolate or linear-lanceolate; the flowers are bisexual and bilaterally symmetrical; the sepals are 5, petal-shaped, purple-blue, with sparse short soft hairs on the outside; the upper sepal is helmet-shaped, 1.5-2cm high, 1-1.4cm long from base to beak, with concave lower edge, the lateral sepals are about 1.3cm long, and the lower sepals are about 1.4cm long, slightly unequal in size; the petals are 2, glabrous, the petal is about 4mm wide, the lip is about 5mm long, the end is 2 shallowly lobed, the spur is about 1.5mm long, and it bends backward and downward; the stamens are numerous, glabrous, and the filaments have 2 teeth or entire margins; the carpels are 5, glabrous.
