[Source] Medicinal material source: The rhizome of Pseudotricholoma viridis of the Polypodiaceae family.

【Original morphology】Plant height 5-20cm. The rhizome is thin and weak, growing horizontally, and is covered with light brown, lanceolate scales at the base of the petiole, which are membranous. Leaves are distal; petioles are 2.5-10cm long, straw-colored, attached to the rhizome at joints, and glabrous upwards; leaf blades are thin papery, triangular-ovate, 6-10cm long, 4-7cm wide, base rounded or rounded cuneate, deeply pinnate; lobes are 7-11 or more, oblong or ovate, 2.5-4cm long, 6-12mm wide, obtuse at the apex, connected by narrow wings at the base, with fine serrations on the edges, a pair of pinnae at the base that are not shortened, slightly obliquely upwards; leaf veins are obvious, and the veinlets are reticulate. The sporangium is round and inserted between the midrib and the leaf margin, close to the midrib.
