Leaves are opposite; with short petioles; leaf blades are elliptical, ovate to ovate-oblong, 5-18cm long, 2-9cm wide, gradually pointed to obtuse at the apex, cuneate at the base and extending downward into a petiole, with serrated edges, sparsely covered with white short procumbent hairs on both sides and obvious short rod-shaped stalactites.
