The capsule is square-round, green with purple, 8-9mm in diameter, with broad wings, prominent transverse veins, and a ring-shaped scar at the base where the disk and perianth fell off. The seeds are black, oval, with tubercle-like protrusions and white soft hairs, and a light yellow-brown, translucent wing-like caruncle near the hilum. The flowering period is from December to April of the following year, and the fruiting period is from March to June.
