Inflorescence has many sparsely planted flowers; flowers are bisexual, solitary, 6-12mm in diameter; pedicels are rough-haired; sepals are 5, narrowly ovate, 3-5mm long, and pubescent on the outside; petals are 5, broadly ovate, up to 7mm long, yellow, with short claws at the base, and the nectar pit has small ovate scales; stamens are numerous, and anthers are about 1mm long; receptacle elongates in fruiting period, is cylindrical, up to 1cm long, and has short white hairs; carpels are numerous and glabrous. Achenes are flat, 3-3.5mm long, glabrous, with ridges about 0.2mm wide on the edges, and extremely short, dot-shaped beaks 0.1-0.2mm long. Flowering and fruiting period is from May to September.
