【Original form】Plant height 60-80cm. The rhizome is short and obliquely ascending, and together with the base of the petiole, is covered with dark brown, lanceolate or narrowly lanceolate scales. Leaves are clustered; petiole 20-30cm long, dark straw color, with sparse scales above the base; leaf blade oblong, papery, 20-50cm long, 20-25cm wide, with a few fibrous scales along the rachis and pinnate axis, odd and once pinnate; pinnae are large, 15-20 pairs, alternate or opposite inferiorly, obliquely triangular-oblong, with very short petioles, the lower ones are larger, long ovate, gradually pointed at the apex, truncated on the upper side of the base and parallel to the rachis, with short ear-like protrusions, cuneate on the lower side, with blunt serrations on the edges, the remaining pinnae gradually become smaller upwards, and the top one is close to a pinnate fissure; leaf veins are reticulate, with 7-8 rows of meshes on each side of the midrib, and 1 small vein hidden inside. The sporangium is born in the middle of the internal vein and scattered on the back of the pinna; the sori is peltate, brown, thicker in the middle, with membranous edges and entire margins.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing under forests on hillsides, beside streams or under bushes at an altitude of 1200-3500m.

[Properties] Identification of properties: rhizome with sparse broad-lanceolate dark brown large scales, petiole 20-30cm long, dark straw color, with sparse scales, leaf blade oblong, 20-50cm long, 20-25cm wide, rachis and petiole with a few fibrous scales, odd-pinnate, pinnae oblong, oblong-lanceolate, rounded base, nearly entire or with a few short-pointed serrations; pinnate reticulate, with 7-8 rows of mesh on each side of the main vein, containing 1-3 small veins. The sporangium is located in the middle of the internal vein, and the sori is shield-shaped with an entire margin. The air is weak.
