[Original form] Deciduous climbing vine. The stem has longitudinal ridges and is sparsely hairy. Leaves are opposite, 2-3 times compound, with 3-7 pinnates; leaflets are ovate to ovate-elliptic, 3-7 cm long, pointed or acute at the apex, rounded at the base, sparsely coarsely serrated at the margin, sparsely covered with light yellow hairs on both sides, without stipules and stipules. The panicles are axillary or terminal, with slender pedicels; the flowers are white, 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter; there are 4 sepals, obovate-oblong, with short silky soft hairs on both sides; there are no petals; there are many stamens, with forked filaments; there are many carpels. Achenes hairy, with short pinnate styles.

[Habitat distribution] Growing in groves or barren slopes. Distributed in Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other places.

【Nature and flavor】 Cool in nature, bitter in taste.

【Functions and indications】Removes dampness and heat, and promotes urination.

[Additional prescription] For treating urinary problems: 5 qian of Akebia trifoliata, 4 qian of Psoralea corylifolia, and 3 qian of Plantago. Decoction in water, once in the morning and once in the evening.
