The inflorescence is capitulate, about 1.2 cm in diameter, arranged in a corymbose shape; the involucre is bell-shaped, with no bracts at the base; the bracts are linear-lanceolate, with membranous edges; the ligulate corolla is orange-yellow, elliptical, about 4 mm long, with 3 to 5 longitudinal veins, and the apex is entire or 3-fissured; the tubular flowers are about 4 mm long and 5-fissured at the apex. Achenes are cylindrical, about 1 mm long, and slightly hairy; pappus is white, about 3 mm long. Flowering period is from April to May.
