【Nature and flavor】 Sweet, slightly bitter, warm.

【Functions and indications】Dispel wind, promote blood circulation, reduce swelling and relieve pain. It is used to treat rheumatism, hemiplegia, pain in the waist and flanks, abdominal pain due to amenorrhea in women, postpartum blood stasis, bruises, carbuncles, furuncles, tinea pedis, and onychomycosis.

[Usage and Dosage] For internal use: decoct in water, 0.5-1 qian (1-3 qian for fresh); grind into powder or soak in wine. For external use: mash the juice and drop it into the ear, mash it and apply it on the ear, or decoct it in water and use it for fumigation and washing.

[Additional prescription] ① Treat rheumatism and bedridden patients: decoct buttercup, cypress seeds, potassium saltpeter, and papaya into a decoction for bathing, two to three times a day. Take Duhuo Jishe Decoction internally. ("Fushou Jing Fang")

[Remarks] The Impatiens balsamina used in Tibet has the plant form of Impatiens acute-toothed , which is distributed in Tibet, Yunnan and other places.
