It can be used in combination with Chuanwu, Arisaema, frankincense, etc., such as Xiaohuo Luo Dan. It is often used in combination with astragalus, angelica, Chuanxiong, etc., such as Buyang Huanwu Decoction, to treat qi deficiency and blood stasis, meridian dysfunction after stroke, hemiplegia, and facial paralysis.
