[Original form] Perennial herb, 5-20cm high. The base is curved or inclined outward, and the upper part is slightly branched. The stem is cylindrical and covered with white long hairs. Simple leaves are opposite; the lower leaves wither early, the middle ones are the largest, the leaf blades are ovate to ovate, 3-20mm long, the base is broadly cuneate to subcordate, suddenly contracted into a petiole, the tip is obtuse to slightly pointed, the edge has irregular round teeth, the upper side is flat and long and soft, the back side is sparsely hairy, densely covered with yellow glandular dots, and the glandular dots fall off, leaving brown depressions. The raceme is terminal and pubescent; the bracts are leaf-like at the bottom and gradually become smaller upwards; the pedicel is about 1 mm long; the bracteoles are narrow and slightly shorter than the calyx; the calyx is deeply lobed into 5 parts; the corolla is lavender, the upper lip is ovate-oblong, the lobes of the lower lip are not deeply punctate, the stamens are didyna, only one of the two chambers of the rear anther is mature, and the other is small and hollow, and only one of the chambers of the local pair of anthers is mature, but the later one is smaller. Capsule oval, about 2mm long. Flowering and fruiting period is from August to November.
