The petioles of basal leaves and leaves on the lower stem are 10-15cm long, with broad ovate to oblong outlines, 15-30cm long, one to two pinnately divided, the terminal lobes oblong, 4-7cm long, 2-4.5cm wide, pinnately lobed, with irregular serrations on the edges, and densely covered with grayish-white soft hairs or pubescence on the underside; the leaves on the upper stem have broad sheaths. The compound umbels are terminal or lateral, with a peduncle 15-30cm long and pubescent; the involucral bracts are 1-3, linear; the rays are 24-40, with white pubescence; the involucral bracteoles are few, linear; each umbel has about 25 white flowers; the petals are dimorphic; the calyx teeth are extremely small; the stylopodium is short conical. The fruit is obovate, 5-8mm long and 4-6mm wide, with broad wings on the side ridges. There is one oil tube in each groove, which is 2/3 of the length of the sectional fruit. There are two oil tubes on the symphysis, and the ventral surface of the endosperm is straight. The flowering period is May-June, and the fruiting period is September-October.
