[Original form] Tilia tree, 20cm high. The bark is gray and straight-fissured, the twigs are nearly bald, and the terminal buds are glabrous or slightly hairy. Leaves are alternate; petiole is 3-5cm long, nearly bare; leaf blade is ovate, 7-14cm long, 5.5-9cm wide, with short pointed or acuminate tip, base is unilaterally cordate or truncate, glabrous above, with stellate hairs below at first, then become bare, with tufts of hairs in the vein axils, gray or brown-green when dry, with sparse and small teeth on the upper half of the margin; 6-7 pairs of lateral veins. The cyme is 8-13cm long and glabrous; the pedicel is 7-9mm long; the bracts are narrow oblanceolate, 10-16cm long, 1.5-2.5cm wide, sessile, obtuse at the apex, rounded or cuneate at the base, usually glabrous above, with stellate pubescence beneath, and 5-7cm below, connate to the stalk of the inflorescence; the sepals are oblong-lanceolate, 5mm long, pubescent, with long pubescence on the inner side; the petals are 7-8mm; the reduced stamens are 6-7mm long; the stamens are 5mm long; the ovary is hairy, and the style is 4-5mm long. The fruit is spherical, 8-10mm wide, without edges, with small protrusions, and covered with star-shaped hairs. The flowering period is July and the fruiting period is October.
