[Original form] Sedum serrata, perennial herb, 15-25cm tall. Roots thick and vertical. Stem ± erect, leafy from base, covered with dense, short, downward hairs. The petiole is 3-5mm long or sessile; the leaf blade is rhombic, the base is cuneate, three-lobed and 5-lobed, the lobes are divided into ovate-oblong lobes, the tip is spiny-acuminate, with small thorn tips 1.5-2mm long, the leaf blade is glabrous above or covered with sparse small thorn-like hairs, and covered with sparse glandular pubescence below. The cyme has about 6 flowers; the bracts are 4-12mm long, conical and glabrous; the calyx is tubular-bell-shaped and glabrous, the calyx teeth are oblong, 8-12mm long, about 4mm wide, with rounded tips and small thorns; the corolla is pink, 2.5-3 times the length of the calyx, the upper lip is half-cleft into two oblong lobes, covered with soft hairs on the outside, the lower lip is 3-lobed, the middle lobe is slightly emarginate, the lobule is oval, and the lateral lobes are short and oblong. Flowering period is from June to August.
