The one that condenses into stone-like cakes is called rock honey, the one that is light and white like frost is called icing sugar, and the one that is hard and white like ice is called rock sugar. They are all the same thing but with different levels of fineness and coarseness. Sugar that is melted and molded into the shapes of people, lions, and elephants is called feast candy, which is what the "Book of the Later Han" notes as "猊糖"; sugar that is made by mixing rock honey with various nuts, orange peels, agar-agar, mint, etc. into cakes is called "糖缠"; sugar that is made by mixing rock honey with milk and yogurt into cakes is called "乳糖"; they are all the same thing in several variations.
