Pomelo: leaf blade lanceolate or elliptic-lanceolate, 6-13cm long, 2-3.5cm wide, acuminate at apex, narrowly cuneate at base, margin coarsely serrulate above base, nearly entire at base, strigose above, curved short soft hairs beneath, with yellow glandular dots on both surfaces, 6-8 pairs of lateral veins. The cymes are densely packed into pseudospikes, terminal and axillary; bracts are lanceolate or subulate; calyx is seed-shaped, about 1.5mm long, with short soft hairs on the outside, 5 calyx teeth, about 0.5mm long, and calyx is cylindrical when fruiting, about 3mm long; corolla is white or light yellow, about 5mm long, with curved soft hairs and yellow glandular dots on the outside, upper lip erect, about 0.5mm long, slightly emarginate at the apex, with long soft hairs on the margin, lower lip 3-lobed, middle lobe round, about 1mm long, lateral lobes semicircular; stamens 4, the front pair is longer and protruding, filaments are glabrous, anthers are 2-chambered; ovary 4-lobed, style protruding from the corolla, stigma 2-lobed. The nutlets are oblong, 1.5 mm long, ribbed on the ventral surface, and brown. The flowering period is from July to September, and the fruiting period is from September to November.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing on hillsides, valley bottoms, roadsides, streams or village edges at an altitude of 1200-3200m.
