Leaves are alternate or whorled on current year branches; petiole slightly thick, 1-3 cm long; leaf blade obovate-oblong, 14-24 (-32) cm long, 3.5-7 (-8) cm wide, with short acuminate apex, cuneate base, hard papery, covered with silvery silky hairs on the underside when young, grayish white on the underside when old, and the hairs gradually falling off. Inflorescence 6-10, clustered at the base of young branches; flowers bisexual, white, usually 3 together, peduncle, branches and pedicels slightly with fine gray pubescence; perianth lobes almost equal in length, 6 deeply divided, arranged in 2 whorls, with transparent oil glands, oblong or oblong, about 6mm long, about 2mm wide, 9 stamens, arranged in 3 whorls, anther 4-chambered, 1st and 2 whorls introverted, 3rd whorl extroverted; 1 pistil, slender style, ovary nearly spherical. [Processing] Take the original medicinal materials, remove impurities, scrape off the rough skin, wash, soak in water for 1-2 hours, take out, moisten thoroughly, cut into thick slices or break into small pieces, and dry.
