[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole herb of the Acrocarpus hymenoptera of the Pteridaceae family.

[Original form] A small rock fern, 8-10cm tall. The rhizome is dark brown, horizontal, slender and filamentous, about 0.3 mm thick, sparsely hairy or almost hairless. Leaves are distant, 1-2cm apart; petioles are 2-2.5cm long, wingless, sparsely pubescent; leaf blades are membranous, translucent, dark brown when dry, narrowly lanceolate, 7-10cm long, 12-15cm wide; twice deeply pinnate-lobed; pinnae are 10-12 pairs, obliquely oblong, 8-10mm long, 5-6mm wide, several pairs at the base are almost born, the rest are closely connected, alternate, deeply pinnate-lobed almost to the rachis; lobes are 3-4 pairs, linear, with sharp teeth on the edges, the lobes on the upper side of the base are longer and often forked; veins are forked-branched, and the rachis has narrow wings except at the base. The sori are only born at the tip of the leaf blade, located at the top of the upper lobe of the pinna, and the lobe of the sori is obviously narrowed below the theca; the theca is narrow and ovate, 1.5-2mm long and about 1mm wide, with two lips split to near the base, with sharp tips and sharp teeth.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing on rocks beside streams under forests at an altitude of 800-900m.
