[Original form] White flower cauliflower is an annual upright branching herb, about 1m tall. Often covered with glandular hairs. The leaves are palmate compound leaves with 3-7 leaflets, petiole 2-7cm long, petiolules 2-4mm long; leaflets are obovate-elliptic, oblanceolate or rhombus, apex acuminate, acute, obtuse or rounded, base cuneate to gradually narrow into petiolules, margin serrulate or with glandular hairs, central leaflet 1-5cm long, 8-16mm wide, lateral leaflets gradually smaller. The raceme is 15-30cm long; the petals are composed of 3 leaflets; the pedicel is about 1.5cm long; the sepals are separate, lanceolate, elliptic or ovate, 3-6mm long, 1-2mm wide, and covered with glandular hairs; the petals are white, rarely light yellow or lavender, and do not cover the stamens and pistils in the bud stage, with claws 10-27mm long, the petals are nearly round or broadly obovate, 2-6mm wide; the disk is slightly fleshy, with 6 stamens extending out of the corolla; the androgynophore is 5-18mm long; the gynophore is 4-10mm long in bisexual flowers, 1-2mm long in male flowers, or absent; the ovary is linear columnar, the style is very short, and the stigma is capitate. The fruit is cylindrical, obliquely raised, 3-8 cm long, and 3-4 mm in diameter in the middle; the seeds are oblate, dark brown, with transverse wrinkles or more often small tubercles on the surface. The flowering and fruiting period is approximately from July to October.
