4. Protect the liver and promote bile secretion. Bupleurum and licorice have obvious protective effects on experimental liver damage caused by carbon tetrachloride, etc., and can significantly reduce the changes and necrosis of liver cells. Tangerine peel and bupleurum also have a choleretic effect, which can increase the amount of bile excretion and the excretion of solid substances in the bile.

5. Increase brain, liver blood flow and cardiac output.
