The efficacy and function of aloe vera

Since aloe vera is an extremely easy plant to grow, it is grown in many homes. Aloe vera not only allows us to appreciate its flowers and leaves, but more importantly, it has many special functions and effects. There are many types of aloe, including Chinese aloe, Japanese aloe, American aloe and African aloe. The shapes of aloe vera in different regions are different. Let’s take a look at the effects and functions of aloe vera.

When we talk about the effects and functions of aloe vera, the first thing that comes to our mind is that aloe vera has a beauty effect. Aloe vera is also known as a magical natural beautician. Not only that, aloe vera can also protect and nourish hair, prevent hair breakage, etc.

Effects of Aloe Vera:

Antibacterial and antifungal effects:

The antibacterial effect of aloe vera comes from the cytokine function of Aloin, which has a relatively aggressive biochemical property that allows aloe vera to directly kill bacteria.

Immunostimulant effects:

The role of aloe vera as an immune stimulant is the fundamental effect of aloe vera on the human body. Aloe vera improves the body's immunity, making it a significant therapeutic effect in treating some diseases caused by decreased immunity.

Wound healing effect:

Another important function of aloe vera gel is to promote wound healing. Aloe vera has remarkable effects in promoting the healing of wounds and ulcers. Whenever any part or tissue on the body surface is injured, wound healing is the main problem and aloe vera gel can participate in this healing process.

Enhance bacteriophagy, detoxification and cleaning functions:

Another important function of aloe vera is its significant "bacteriophagic" effect. The body's immune system eliminates bacteria, infections and the remains of dead cells in the body through the "phagocytic" action. On the one hand, immunostimulants have a phagocytic effect, and on the other hand, the detoxification and cleansing functions in the body also have a phagocytic effect. For the body, bacteria and their remains are poisons that must be eliminated. Cells infected and dead by bacteria are also harmful to the body. These dead cells and the toxins in them must be cleared out of the body through phagocytosis. Therefore, enhancing phagocytosis means enhancing the body's detoxification and cleansing functions.

Anti-inflammatory Effect:

Anti-inflammation is an important function of aloe vera gel. Whether it is burns, physical injuries, corrosive chemical injuries or inflammation caused by ultraviolet rays and thermal radiation, aloe vera gel has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Experiments have shown that the efficacy of anti-inflammatory drugs made from aloe vera gel is equivalent to that of modern chemically synthesized anti-inflammatory drugs, and aloe vera gel does not contain any harmful ingredients and has no side effects on the human body.

Immune and anti-tumor effects:

The polysaccharides contained in aloe vera can enhance immunity and have a strong effect in inhibiting or destroying the growth of abnormal cells, thereby playing an anti-tumor role.

From the above content we have learned the effects and functions of aloe vera. It can be seen that aloe vera not only has the effect of beauty and skin care, but also can play an anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and detoxification role. At the same time, aloe vera is edible. But it is better to eat less, as eating too much will cause poisoning.
