Why do gardenia leaves turn yellow?

There are many reasons why the leaves of gardenia turn yellow: if it is caused by improper watering, the amount of watering needs to be controlled, and there should be no water in the bonsai soil. If the amount of watering is large, the pot needs to be removed in time and placed in a cool place for maintenance. If it is caused by low temperature, it needs to be kept indoors in winter to prevent cold and keep warm. If discomfort is caused by sunlight exposure, it is necessary to take shading measures when the sun is strong.

Why do the leaves of gardenia turn yellow?

1. Poor watering

Reason: Watering the cassia flower too much or too little will affect the normal growth of the main stem. If the main stem grows in a waterlogged or too dry environment for a long time, the rhizome will not be able to absorb nutrients and water normally, and the leaves will turn yellow.

Solution: If there is a shortage of water, just water it with a few drops of water. Sprinkle water on the leaves appropriately every day to keep it moist without retaining water. If there is water in the bonsai soil, remove it from the pot and place it in a cool place for maintenance. Control the amount of watering during normal times, and take drainage measures in time if water accumulates.

2. Adjust the temperature

Reason: If the working temperature is too low, the main stem will be frozen and its leaves will turn green.

Solution: When the temperature is relatively low, turn up the temperature. Try to keep it indoors in winter, and don't let the cold air blow directly on the main stem. In addition, we must do a good job of keeping warm at night in early spring.

3. Effective sunlight exposure

Reason: In the process of caring for the cassia flower, if it is exposed to direct strong light for a long time, the leaves will be burned and turn yellow. On the other hand, long-term growth in a dim environment will cause the leaves to turn yellow and even fall off.

Solution: When the sun is strong in summer, it is necessary to do a good job of shading, avoid being exposed to the scorching sun, or put it in a cool place for maintenance. For daily maintenance, just ensure that there is sufficient diffuse light.
