Radix spatholobi is a very common plant in daily life and also a Chinese medicinal material. It has significant effects in clearing away heat and detoxifying, treating bruises and injuries. There are many ways to eat it. It can be decocted into soup and taken orally. Different ways of eating have different effects in treating diseases. Friends in need can learn more about the relevant knowledge to better play its efficacy. 1. Taking root The leaves of the angelica plant can be eaten as medicine to treat diseases. Nature and flavor: bitter; sour; cold Meridians: Lung; Kidney Functions and indications: Cooling blood and stopping bleeding; clearing away heat and detoxifying. Blood in the main lobe; bleeding due to trauma; injuries from falls; furuncle, carbuncle, breast abscess; breast abscess; breast rock; erysipelas; ulcer; burn; stomachache; joint pain; sore throat; cough due to lung heat 2. How to eat the root Dosage and Administration: For internal use: decoction, 30-60g of fresh whole herb; 3-6g of root; or squeezed juice. For external use: take appropriate amount and mash it for application; or squeeze the juice, dry it into powder and grind it into powder for sprinkling; or mash the juice and gargle with it. Note: "Quanzhou Materia Medica" says that people with weak spleen and stomach should not use it. Additional prescription: ① Treating traumatic bleeding: Mash the fresh leaves of the angelica root and apply to the affected area. (Fujian Chinese Herbal Medicine) ② Treat furuncle, carbuncle, and unknown swelling: 1 to 2 liang of fresh leaves of angelica root. Mash the medicine and squeeze out the juice, mix with honey and drink it, and apply the residue to the affected area. ③Treat sore and swollen throat: 5 to 10 fresh leaves of Radiata calyx. Squeeze the juice and gargle. ④Treat mastitis: 1 to 2 liang of fresh leaves of Radix Lycoris Radiata. Mash it and apply to the affected area. (The following recipe is from "Quanzhou Materia Medica") ⑤ Treat ulcers: one catty of leaf sprouts (pound the juice and dry it, then use the powder), five fen of plum slices. Grind into powder and apply to the affected area. (Luchuan Materia Medica) ⑥ Treat vomiting blood due to falls: 7 fresh leaves of Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae. Mash it and squeeze out the juice, add wine and brown sugar, stew it and drink it while warm. ⑦Treat heat-induced stomachache: 5 fresh leaves of Radix Lycoris Radiata. Mash the juice and take a small amount to adjust your appetite. One or two ounces of fresh whole herb of angelica sinensis is used to treat swollen and painful joints. Decoction in water. ⑨Treat acute otitis media: mash the fresh leaves of the angelica dahurica, squeeze out the juice and drip into the ears. (The following recipe is from Fujian Chinese Herbal Medicine) Records: 1. "Illustrated Catalogue of Plant Names and Realities": cools blood and stops vomiting blood. 2. "Records of Medicinal Herbs in Lingnan" says: It can be applied to sores and poisons to remove them. 3. "Luchuan Materia Medica": stops bleeding, reduces inflammation, and promotes tissue regeneration. Treats bleeding from knife wounds, ulcers, burns, and otitis media. 4. “Nanning Pharmacopoeia”: Leaves: reduce swelling and relieve pain. Used externally to treat bruises, knife wounds, red and swollen heat sores, and hot eye membranes (with borneol); root: taken internally to treat lung heat and cough (cooked with pork). |
