This food that rural people feed pigs can actually cure high blood pressure

There are treasures everywhere in the countryside. You can see all kinds of wild grasses in the fields. In fact, they are all good medicine for treating diseases. When I was young, my daily task was to collect pig food. When I got home from school, I would pick up a small backpack and go to the vegetable garden or open space to find wild vegetables, such as purslane, lolo vegetable, horse rope vegetable, amaranth, and prickly vegetable, etc. The names of the vegetables mentioned here are the names used in my hometown in the countryside, and people in the city may not know them. Don’t think too much, these are fed to pigs in the countryside and no one eats them!

If you go to the fields, you will see weeds and pig food everywhere. This is what rural people think, because they are used to seeing weeds and pig food everywhere.

If you go to the end of the field, you will see that it is full of treasures, so many wild vegetables, all of which can be eaten, and many Chinese medicinal herbs. This is the view of city people, because they have never seen it. These things cannot be found in the city and even if they are available, they are very expensive.

Today I would like to introduce to you a very common wild grass or wild vegetable, which is also a traditional Chinese medicine! Plantago, also known as: plantain, five-root grass, wheel vegetable, is a perennial herb with a height of 50 cm including the flower stem and fibrous roots. It has antidiarrhea, diuretic, expectorant, antitussive and antiasthmatic effects. It grows in mountains, roadsides, flower gardens, river banks, etc. The rhizome is shortened and thickened, with dense fibrous roots. All leaves are basal, with smooth, broadly ovate leaves, wavy edges, unclear blunt teeth in between, and five main veins.

Did you know that psyllium can treat high blood pressure?

Use 3 qian of Plantago seeds every day (increase to 6 qian if no effect is apparent after 1 month), decoct in water twice and drink as tea. After 3 to 4 months of treatment, the systolic blood pressure of 50 patients dropped to less than 150 mmHg in 23 patients (46%), and the diastolic blood pressure dropped to less than 90 mmHg in 25 patients (50%). Except for stomach discomfort in individual cases, there were no other adverse reactions during the treatment.

If you see plantain, just collect it! Such good medicinal materials are really good for treating high blood pressure!
