What are the benefits of crushed dandelion for facial application?

Have you ever heard of crushing dandelions and applying it on your face? In fact, it has a very good effect of clearing heat, detoxifying and removing acne. Therefore, when facing some acne problems, you can try to use dandelion as a facial mask for treatment and maintenance. It can play a good role in removing acne and fading spots. It has a wide range of medicinal value and can also help inhibit Staphylococcus aureus or other fungal infections.

1. Dandelion facial mask method

Dandelion tastes sweet and bitter, is cold in nature, and enters the liver and stomach meridians. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, eliminating carbuncles and dispersing nodules. Here are some clever ways to use dandelions to treat illnesses. Impetigo: Take an appropriate amount of fresh dandelion, wash it, mash it and squeeze out the juice. Use a cotton swab to dip the juice and apply it to the affected area seven to ten times a day. Swollen and painful hemorrhoids: Take 100 grams of fresh dandelion and 3 grams of borneol powder. Mash the dandelion into a paste, add borneol powder and mix well. Apply to the affected area, cover with gauze and secure with adhesive tape. Remove after 20 to 30 minutes, once a day. Dandelion can be used as a natural facial mask and there is no need to wash it off. If you want to use dandelion for skin care, it is recommended to boil it into juice or soak it in boiling water into concentrated water, wash your face after it cools naturally, and then dry naturally, and wash it several times. Eat more fresh fruits rich in vitamins every day.

2. The role of dandelion

Antibacterial: 50% fresh grass juice, using the plate trench method, has an inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi; 50% whole herb decoction, using the plate trench method, has an inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Antifungal: The water extract was diluted in a test tube at a ratio of one to four, which had an inhibitory effect on Microsporum audouinii, Trichophyton rubrum, etc. Anti-tumor: Intraperitoneal injection of 30 to 40 mg/kg of dandelion hot water extract has an anti-tumor effect on mice with Ehrlich ascites carcinoma when given 11 to 20 days after subcutaneous inoculation. It is ineffective when given one to ten days after inoculation. Its anti-tumor effect is similar to that of Lentinan, and is achieved through immune mechanisms. It also has anti-gastric ulcer, choleretic and liver-protecting effects.

3. Side Effects of Dandelion

Excessive dosage: Gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort and mild diarrhea may occasionally occur after taking the decoction at the normal dosage. After three days of oral administration of large doses of the decoction, mild swelling of the hepatocytes and renal tubular epithelial cells of the experimental rabbits and narrowing of the renal tubules were observed, but no other obvious changes were observed. In subacute toxicity tests on mice and rabbits, a small amount of casts may appear in the urine and the renal tubular epithelial cells may be turbid and swollen. The main problem with using medicine for the wrong condition is that dandelion is not used to distinguish between cold and heat, and dandelion is abused to treat various infections without differentiation of symptoms. Most of the infections seen clinically are heat syndromes, and the use of dandelion generally does not cause adverse reactions.
