Modern Chinese medicine is being rediscovered by people because there are many modern diseases that cannot be cured by Western medicine, but using Chinese medicine's step-by-step treatment methods can lead to quick recovery. Most of the prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine are based on natural plants or animals. Among them, Jiazhu powder is a therapeutic drug obtained from animals, and its effect is very outstanding. Let’s take a look at the effects of nail powder. I hope everyone can understand this aspect and have a new understanding of Chinese medicine.

Jiazhu is a traditional Chinese medicine, also known as Paojiazhu and Paoshanjia. It is usually prepared from the scales of the pangolin. The preparation methods include roasting, roasting with butter, roasting with vinegar, roasting with urine of children, frying in oil, stir-frying with earth, and stir-frying with clam powder. It tastes salty and is slightly cold in nature. It enters the liver and stomach meridians. It can promote blood circulation, resolve stagnation, promote menstruation and lactation, and eliminate carbuncles and ulcers. It is used to treat blood stasis, amenorrhea, abdominal masses, rheumatic pain, milk retention, carbuncle, scrofula, etc. It is forbidden for patients with weak Qi and blood, ulcerated carbuncle and pregnant women to take it.

[Main indications]: Treat carbuncle, swelling, wind-cold-dampness arthralgia, amenorrhea, milk stagnation, bloody stool.

[Usage and Dosage]: For oral use: decoct in water, 1.5-3 qian (or 3-9g); or take as powder. For external use: grind into powder and sprinkle or apply on affected area.

[Precautions]: Patients with insufficient Qi and blood, or ulcerated carbuncle should take this medicine with caution. "Compendium of Materia Medica" states: "It is not suitable for people with carbuncle that has already ulcerated, and it is not suitable for people with smallpox that cannot break out due to insufficient vital energy."

Pao pangolin is also known as cannon armor, cannon armor slices, cannon armor beads, pangolin beads, and roasted pangolin. It is pangolin slices that are fried with sand until they swell and turn dark yellow and are used as medicine. Vinegar pangolin, also known as vinegar pangolin slices, is made by frying the pangolin, sifting out the sand, soaking it in vinegar while it is still hot, then rinsing it with clean water and drying it for use as medicine.
