Dried sandworms are a common food for fishermen. They are made by artificially processing and drying sandworms. They are crispy, delicious and easy to preserve, and can be eaten as a side dish. Dried sandworms are also very beneficial to the human body. They can effectively lower blood pressure, nourish the body, clear away heat and detoxify, and are also very beneficial for lung diseases. They can also effectively lower blood lipids and prevent cancer.

Introduction

Sandworms, whose zoological name is "star worms", are not sea intestines. They are found in the mud and sand of coastal mudflats. They are about two inches long and look like reed sprouts. They are a high-protein supplement. Sandworms are also called sand intestine worms. Their shape is very similar to an intestine and is long and cylindrical. Sandworms do not seem to be as valuable as sea cucumbers and shark fins, mainly because sandworms are not widely recognized. However, they taste extremely delicious, which is something that sea cucumbers and shark fins cannot match. Their therapeutic value is also not inferior to that of sea cucumbers, and they are known as "marine cordyceps."

It has high nutritional value and is very popular in the market. The price is also relatively expensive, and it is generally produced in Beihai City, Zhanjiang City and other places in the Beibu Gulf. Sandworms have extremely high requirements for seawater environment for their growth and are known as "marker organisms of the marine environment."

For tuberculosis cough, neurasthenia, spleen deficiency or dryness in children, drinking sandworms and ginger slices boiled in lean meat soup is effective. Because sandworms nourish yin and strengthen the kidney, children who frequently urinate at night due to kidney deficiency can get good results by eating sandworm porridge. Therefore, sandworms are a nutritional supplement and food therapy product suitable for people of all ages.

How to eat the product

First, use scissors to cut the sandworm dry, then use a toothbrush to brush out the sand inside, and be sure not to wet it with water.

Then heat the iron pan until it is red, but do not add oil, as it will be difficult to remove the sand if you add oil. Put the sandworms in the pan and fry until they turn golden brown. Then put the dried sandworms in a bowl and wash them quickly with water. You can use a small brush and the sand will sink to the bottom. This will completely remove the sand from the sandworms (of course, high-quality sandworms do not contain sand, so this step can be skipped). When cooking soup or porridge, take out the sandworms and pour the water used to soak the sandworms into the soup and cook them together. Be careful of the sand at the bottom of the bowl. This is the basic method of playing Sandworm without sand.

Note: Do not soak or make soup or porridge with sandworms that have not been fried until they turn golden brown. The flavor of dried sandworms that have not been fried will not come out. Do not waste this delicious food. Whether making soup, porridge, or pepper and salt, the dried sandworms need to be fried until golden brown first.

After the dried sandworms are soaked, they can be made into a variety of delicious dishes.
