There is a plant called Bidens pilosa. When you walk by it, it can prick you with its thorny seeds without you noticing. Bidens pilosa is an annual herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family. It grows mostly in roadside wastelands, hillsides and fields. It is also known as ghost yellow flower, ghost hairpin grass, ghost chrysanthemum, a handful of needles, sticky grass, thorny grass, and blind grass. Looking at these names, don’t you feel a little chilly? In fact, Bidens pilosa has the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, dispersing blood stasis and reducing swelling. It is widely used to treat various diseases, such as colds, malaria, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis, acute nephritis, hypertension, stomachache, choking, intestinal carbuncle, sore throat, bruises, snake and insect bites, etc. Keeping some Bidens pilosa at home is like having a small medicine box, which contains medicines for colds, blood pressure lowering, anti-inflammatory, and red wounds. In daily life, if you have a cold, sprained your ankle, high blood pressure, dysentery, or diarrhea, you can consider taking some of the good medicine given by nature and drink it by soaking Bidens pilosa in water. The following is a folk remedy for using Bidens pilosa to treat appendicitis: Take 30 grams of dried Bidens pilosa (50 grams of fresh Bidens pilosa) and decoct it. You can also add rock sugar, honey, and milk. Take one dose per day, and one course of treatment is seven days. It is also effective in treating chronic appendicitis, but the course of treatment needs to be appropriately extended. For bruises and injuries, you can use 60 grams of fresh Bidens pilosa (or 30 grams of dried product) and boil it in water. When taking, add 30 grams of rice wine. For acute gastroenteritis, you can use 15-30 grams of Bidens pilosa (double the amount for fresh products) and 9 grams of Plantain, decocted in water and taken orally. Precautions for use: This product is cold in nature and should be used with caution in patients with spleen deficiency and diarrhea. Pregnant women should not use. |
