Medicinal value of Cimicifuga

Cimicifuga is an important herb with many functions and high medicinal value. It is mainly used to treat sore throat, mouth ulcers, toothache and other diseases. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, relieving sore throat and reducing swelling. Cimicifuga can also be used to treat gynecological diseases such as uterine prolapse and abnormal leucorrhea. Cimicifuga can be taken orally or applied externally. For example, taking it in water decoction can treat oral and throat diseases. The decoction can be used to gargle and rinse, treat bad breath and sores, etc. The specific method of use still needs to be taken under the guidance of a doctor.

1. Pea leucorrhea (shaped like a pea, with white fluid, spreading from the head and face to the trunk, life-threatening without emergency treatment). Fry the Cimicifuga with honey and eat it at any time. Alternatively, boil Cimicifuga heracleifolia in water and use cotton wool dipped in the juice to wash the sores.

2. Sudden swelling and infection. Grind the Cimicifuga into vinegar and apply it at any time.

3. Throat paralysis. Hold the tablets of Cimicifuga in your mouth and swallow them, or boil half a liang of Cimicifuga in water and drink it to induce vomiting.

4. Toothache due to stomach heat. Boil the Cimicifuga heracleifolia in water, rinse your mouth with the hot water and swallow it. You can also add raw Rehmannia root to the prescription.

5. Mouth ulcers. Use one liang of Cimicifuga heracleifolia and three fen of Coptis chinensis and grind them Wrap the medicine powder in cotton and swallow it.

6. Prickly heat and itching. Drink the decoction of Cimicifuga heracleifolia and use it to wash the prickly heat.

7. Postpartum blood loss. Use three liang of Cimicifuga heracleifolia and five liters of sake and boil it down to two liters. Take it in two doses.

8. It can detoxify the poisons of henbane, kudzu, etc. Boil the juice with Cimicifuga and take it regularly.

With the help of the medicinal effects of Cimicifuga, it can be made into medicinal food. For example, if you put cimicifuga and black sesame seeds into pig large intestine, tie it tightly and put it into a casserole and stew it until cooked, it can replenish qi and benefit the middle after eating, and it is very effective in treating uterine prolapse. Alternatively, you can directly put the Cimicifuga into a casserole, add water, boil it, then divide it into three portions and drink it in three time periods.
