④ "Medicinal Properties": "It can treat coldness in men and women, replenish essence and marrow, relieve back pain and cold knees, and cure thirst and heat in the middle."

⑤ "Rihuazi Materia Medica": "It can replenish the five kinds of fatigue and seven kinds of injuries, treat spermatorrhea, hematuria, and moisturize the heart and lungs."

Cuscuta chinensis folk remedies for treating diseases (use with caution):

1. 900 grams of Cuscuta seeds, 90 grams each of Artemisia annua and green salt. Grind them into fine powder, soak them in medicinal wine and cook them. Make the paste into pills as big as sycamore seeds. Take 9 grams each time, 3 times a day. Or use 25 grams each of cocoon silk and bachaotian, soak in wine, drink 2 to 3 times a day, 1 to 2 small cups each time.

2. 15 grams of Cuscuta australis, 12 grams each of Cuscuta australis and Eucommia ulmoides, 6 grams each of Lotus Stamens, Allium leek seeds and Schisandra chinensis, and 9 grams of Psoralea corylifolia. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day. Or use 300 grams of Cuscuta australis, 210 grams of Schisandra chinensis, 90 grams each of Poria cocos and lotus seeds. Make into pills, 9 grams each time, 3 times a day.

3. Grind 10 grams of Cuscuta seeds, put an appropriate amount of brown sugar into a teacup, brew with boiling water, and drink frequently instead of tea. Or use 30 grams of Cuscuta australis, 15 grams of Cistanche deserticola, 15 grams of Lycium barbarum, 20 grams of Polygonum multiflorum, 20 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 15 grams of Schisandra chinensis, 15 grams of Cornus officinalis, 5 grams of ginseng, and 10 grams of Alisma orientalis. Take it decocted in water, 1 dose per day or 1 dose every other day, to treat sperm abnormalities.

4. Stew 15g of Cuscuta seeds, 30g of Artemisia argyi, 10g of Ligusticum chuanxiong and 2 quails.

5. Habitual abortion: 12g of Cuscuta australis, 15g of Viscum album, 15g of donkey-hide gelatin (melted), 9g of Dipsacus asper, and 12g of Chinese angelica. Decoction in water, 1 dose per day, regular use is effective.

6. Use 60 grams of Cuscuta seeds alone, soak it in wine and grind it into fine powder, prepare it and take it with nine servings; or use 10 grams of Cuscuta seeds with wine, grind it into powder, boil it with eggs and take it. You can also use 12 grams of Cuscuta seeds, 12 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 10 grams each of Plantain seeds, Lycium barbarum, and chamomile. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

7. 30g each of Cuscuta seeds and Schisandra chinensis, and 90g of Rehmannia root. Grind into fine powder, take 6 grams with rice drink before meals, 3 times a day.

8. 15 grams each of angelica dahurica, raw rehmannia root, cooked rehmannia root, 12 grams each of glossy privet fruit and polygonum multiflorum, 10 grams each of eclipta prostrata, white peony root, and angelica root, 9 grams each of donkey-hide gelatin and wolfberry. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.
