What is the Chinese herbal medicine Dictamni

Personally, I know nothing about Chinese herbal medicine. Sometimes I will check whether the medicine I am receiving is honeysuckle during an IV drip, and I will remember the name of the herbal medicine at that time. For many friends who take Chinese medicine, my suggestion is to completely control your hands and your mouth. Don't eat everything. If you can't eat mutton or other irritating foods, don't eat them.

Cortex Dictamni, also known as white moss peel, eight-legged cattle, mountain peony, sheep fresh grass, Latin name: CORTEX DICTAMNI Chinese medicine name. It is the root bark of the perennial herbs Dictamni and Dictamni angustifolia of the Rutaceae family. It is mainly produced in Liaoning, Hebei, Sichuan, Jiangsu and other places. Dig up the roots in spring and autumn, remove the mud and rough skin, peel off the root bark, slice it and dry it. Use raw. It has the effects of clearing away heat and dampness, dispelling wind and detoxifying. "Material Treatise": "It can treat all kinds of hot and toxic wind, aversion to wind, wind sores, scabies, red and rotten eyebrows and hair, skin and muscle urgency, high fever and aversion to cold; it can also treat febrile jaundice, wine jaundice, acute jaundice, grain jaundice, and fatigue jaundice." Modern research shows that the volatile oil of this product has anti-cancer effects in vitro. But it should be used with caution by those with weak spleen and stomach.

1. Growth habits

Ecological environment: Grown in mountain thickets and under forests, on sunny slopes of hillsides. White fresh grass grows in bushes on earth slopes, in mountain bushes and under forests, and on sunny slopes of mountains. Dictamni likes warm and humid environment, is cold-resistant, afraid of drought, waterlogging, and strong light.

2. Geographical Distribution

Resource distribution: Northeast China, North China, East China, Shaanxi, Gansu, Henan, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Xinjiang, with the largest resources in Ili and Altay regions.

It is produced in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi (northern), Sichuan and other provinces and regions. It grows on hilly slopes or in bushes on flat land, or in grasslands or under sparse woods. It is also common in limestone mountains. There are also some in North Korea, Mongolia and Russia (Far East).

Many people like to eat mutton, are good at eating seafood, and even worse, drink alcohol. For friends like this, I would not recommend them to take some Chinese herbal medicine. Chinese herbal medicine has no effect at all for these people. Because I think taking Chinese medicine is a huge project, so I would never take Chinese medicine if I can take Western medicine.
