[Source] It is the bark of the mountain willow of the Salicaceae family. It can be harvested throughout the year, sliced ​​and sun-dried.

[Original form] Small tree, more than 3 meters high. The branches are round and covered with white hairs, especially densely on young branches and petioles. Simple leaves are alternate; rectangular-elliptic, 21-27 mm long, 9-14 mm wide, obtuse or slightly pointed at the apex, broadly cuneate at the base, entire, and covered with white hairs on both sides; petiole is short. Flowers are unisexual and dioecious; arranged in catkins; each flower is borne in the axil of a bract; flowers are white and fuzzy; there is no perianth; there are 1 to 2 or more stamens. The capsule is ovate, about 3 mm long, and splits into two when ripe, with the lobes recurved. There are 3 to 5 seeds, which are brown-black and densely covered with long white wool.
