[Source] Medicinal material source: The rhizome of the Ranunculaceae plant.

[Original form] Iron rot, perennial herb, 14-58cm tall. The rhizome is about 10 cm long. 2-4 basal leaves; petiole 10-26cm long, with longitudinal river color, slightly wider at base, glabrous; leaf blade cordate-ovate or cordate, 4.5-9.5cm long, 5.5-16cm wide, apex shortly acuminate or acute, base deeply cordate, margin densely serrated, tooth tip with short tips, glabrous or occasionally sparsely pubescent along veins below. Inflorescence compound cymes, densely covered with spreading short soft hairs; bracts subulate, 1-5mm long; pedicels 5-10mm long, covered with short soft hairs; flowers bisexual, sepals 5, petal-shaped, white or pink, narrowly ovate or elliptic, 3-5mm long, 1.8-2.5mm wide, apex acute or obtuse, glabrous; petals absent; stamens numerous, slightly shorter than sepals, anthers nearly spherical, about 0.3mm in diameter; carpel 1, 2.5-3.5mm long, sparsely covered with short soft hairs at base. The follicles are lanceolate-linear, 1.1-1.7 cm long, flat, slightly curved in the middle, with sparse short soft hairs at the base, about 8 oblique transverse veins, and a beak 1-2 mm long. The seeds are about 2.5 mm long and longitudinally wrinkled. The flowering period is from May to August, and the fruiting period is from June to September.
