It is mainly produced in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places.

【Properties】

The dried stem is flattened, 60 to 90 cm long, 4 to 7 mm in diameter, with a spike inflorescence at the top; the upper part is light yellow and not easy to break, while the lower part is light green and easy to break. The whole body is wrinkled, with longitudinal lines and luster on the surface; the nodes are slightly raised, the texture is light and soft, hollow in the middle, and there are white membranous intervals in the broken surface. When observed with a magnifying glass, it appears honeycomb-like. The breath is weak. The best ones are dry, complete, yellow-green in color, and free of dirt and impurities.
