The Chinese medical community believes that the stomach and intestines are the source of the body's blood, qi and biochemistry. Poor spleen and stomach can easily lead to constipation and always cause a bloating feeling in the stomach; weak spleen and stomach often cause joint pain in the elderly. It can be seen from this that the stomach and intestines are of great urgency and conditioning is the most effective way to maintain health. How to regulate poor spleen and stomach To maintain the digestive and absorption function of the stomach, we should pay attention to the following aspects: (1) Antifreeze and keep warm People with chronic gastrointestinal diseases always get sick in cold winter or when the temperature suddenly turns cold. The reason is related to cold stimulation. There is a part of the human stomach close to the abdominal cavity, and cold air can easily invade the stomach directly, which in turn reflexively causes gastric and vascular contraction, disorder of gastric motility, and causes cramped abdominal pain, stomach fullness, poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, etc. Therefore, in the cold season and in autumn, early spring and other seasons with severe weather problems, we must pay attention to preventing cold and keeping warm. Experienced patients with stomach problems often wear a small bellyband in front of the stomach. Although the bellyband is small, it can effectively prevent the stomach from catching cold. People with stomach problems may want to give it a try. (2) Happy mood Under the stimulation of negative emotions, the cerebral cortex function becomes disordered, and it cannot properly control and regulate the central nervous system, which leads to decreased sympathetic humoral regulation and increased offensive factors (gastric juice and pepsin). It can also enhance the central nervous system humoral regulation through the pathway of the hypothalamus-pituitary-pituitary-adrenal axis, resulting in the weakening of defense factors (the resistance of the gastric mucosa and some blood), thereby causing "self-absorption" of the gastric mucosa and causing gastric disease. Therefore, people with stomach problems should pay attention to regulating their emotions and releasing mental stress, especially avoiding long-term depression and anxiety to prevent "anger" from hurting the stomach. (3) Eat in moderation The stomach is the place where food is stored and basic digestion is carried out. Stomach disease has special requirements on diet, so be careful not to hurt your stomach. Eating hot food, eating fast, irregular meals and eating smoked and pickled food can all cause damage to the gastric mucosa. It becomes the cause of peptic ulcer. The diet should be light in taste and rich in nutrition. Quantitative analysis should be carried out regularly, with small meals and frequent snacks. Choose high-protein food that is non-irritating to the stomach, high-vitamin food that can inhibit or neutralize gastric acid, and food that is beneficial to ulcer healing, such as milk, beans, lean meat, fish, fruits, etc.; avoid eating cold fruits and vegetables, greasy, fried and spicy food, and food that is irritating and stagnates the qi, such as onions, chili peppers, leeks, tobacco, alcohol, potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter melon, etc.; do not overeat or drink too much, and eat at different times of fullness or hunger; the cooking methods should be mainly steaming, boiling, stewing, braising, and roasting to make the food soft, rotten and easy to digest. |
