[Source] It is the tuber of the orchid plant Orchidaceae . Harvested from August to October.

[Original form] Herb, 30 to 50 cm high. There are 2 tubers, which are nearly obovate, fleshy, yellowish-white, and have fibrous roots on top. The stem is erect, glabrous, and usually has several scale-like leaves in the middle, which gradually transition into bracts upwards. There are two basal leaves at the base, which are elliptical, narrowly elliptical or oblanceolate-elliptical, with obtuse apex and narrowed base into sheath-like petioles. The spike inflorescence is terminal, with more than 10 flowers, white in color, and the outer three petals are slightly light green.

[Habitat distribution] Grown in relatively moist grasslands under forests in mountains.

It can treat pulmonary tuberculosis, hemoptysis, hematemesis, epistaxis, trauma, carbuncle, and burns caused by hot water or fire."

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoct in water, 1 to 3 qian. For external use: mash and apply.
