[Source] It is Boehmeria nivea (L..) Gaud, a plant of the Urticaceae family. Root . Dig up in winter and spring, wash and dry.

[Original form] Perennial herb or subshrub, 1 to 2 meters high. The root is irregularly cylindrical and slightly curved. The stem is erect, branched, green, with short or long hairs. The leaves are alternate, broadly ovate or nearly round, 5 to 16 cm long, 3.5 to 14 cm wide, with a pointed tip, a broad cuneate or rounded base, coarsely serrated edges, rough on the upper side, and densely covered with white wool on the lower side.
