Mulberry leaf vegetable, also known as mulberry sprout vegetable, is a kind of vegetable made from the tender leaves on mulberry branches. Today I will introduce to you the daily consumption methods, tea making methods and functions of mulberry leaves.

1. Cooking with mulberry leaves

1. Mix mulberry leaves with cold dishes: select tender young mulberry leaves (remove the stems), wash, cut into strips, blanch in boiling water, cool with boiled water, dry the water, add salt, MSG, minced garlic, sesame oil, (chili pepper), stir and serve;

2. Mulberry leaf vegetables: Add vegetable oil to the dish, bring to a boil, add mashed garlic and mulberry leaves, stir-fry for 1-2 minutes depending on how well done, add salt and MSG, and serve.

2. Mulberry leaf soup

1. Mulberry leaf lean meat soup

Wash the mulberry leaves, chop the lean pork into small pieces, add salt and chopped shallots and mix well. After the water in the pot boils, divide the minced meat into small pieces and put them into the water to cook for 1-2 minutes. Add mulberry leaves and MSG to the pot and cook for one minute. Remove from the pot and drizzle with a small amount of sesame oil.

2. Mulberry leaf, carrot, corn and dragon bone soup

Food: 300 grams of pork bones (or pork ribs), 100 grams of mulberry leaves, 100 grams of carrots, 200 grams of corn, appropriate amount of salt, and a piece of ginger.

Preparation: Wash the pork bones, mulberry leaves and carrots, and peel the corn. Bring the pot to a boil, blanch the pork bones, remove them and rinse off the white foam, slice the corn and carrots, put the above ingredients together with the ginger into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 1 hour, and add salt when drinking.

3. Main Dinner

1. Mulberry leaf porridge

Food: 100 grams of fresh mulberry leaves, 100 grams of rice, 80 grams of sliced ​​lean pork, wolfberry, and appropriate amount of salt. (Mint and wolfberry are not necessary)

Method: Add appropriate amount of cold water and cook rice porridge. When it is cooked, add lean pork, mulberry leaves, and salt. Add wolfberry after cooking.

2. Mulberry leaf cake

1. Take an appropriate amount of ordinary flour and chopped mulberry leaves, pour warm water into the flour, mix into flocs, and make a smooth batter, then cover with a lid and let it rest for more than an hour;

2. While the batter is resting, start preparing the oil and chop the mulberry leaves into small pieces for later use; (the smaller the pieces, the better the taste)

3. Add 50g of wheat flour, 2g of salt and 40ml of vegetable oil to the mulberry leaves and mix well. Take the prepared batter out of the bowl, put it on the control panel and knead it into equal-sized batters and roll them into pancakes.

4. Add a layer of evenly mixed mulberry leaves on the dough skin, roll up the dough skin from one side, and then pinch the inserted area tightly to form a pancake with even thickness;

5. Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the wok, then put the pancake into the wok and start frying over low heat. When one side of the wonton skin is golden brown, turn it over and fry until the pancake is done and both sides are orange-yellow.

4. The role of mulberry leaves

Mulberry leaves are rich in potassium, calcium, iron, vitamins C, B1, B2, B3, A, folic acid, copper, zinc and other nutrients needed by the human body. They have anti-aging, fatigue relief, beautification and are especially good for facial acne and dark spots. Antiviral treatment, anti-tumor, dispelling cold and heat, clearing away heat and removing fire, clearing away heat and removing fire, lowering blood pressure, lowering blood lipids and blood sugar, lowering cholesterol, etc...

5. Taboo

Women during menstruation and pregnancy should not drink mulberry leaf tea. This is because the medicinal effects of mulberry leaves are sweet, bitter and cold. Mulberry leaves are a kind of Chinese herbal medicine with mild properties. There is no taboo in their daily and appropriate use.
