[Original form] Perennial small herb, 4-12cm high. Tubers spherical; stemless. There is usually one leaf (sometimes 2-3 leaves), the petiole is 4-8cm long and has soft hairs; the leaf blade is circular, about 3-7cm long and wide, obtuse or acute at the apex, with an open notch at the base, nearly symmetrical, with procumbent soft hairs on both sides and fine round teeth on the edges. The petiole is slender, 4-8cm long and pubescent. The dichotomous cyme grows from the ground, with a peduncle 7-17 cm long, pubescent, and 2-3 pink flowers; male and female flowers each have 4 tepals. The capsule is nearly 1.8 cm long, slightly pubescent, with three wings, one of which is larger, narrowly triangular, and pointed. Flowering and fruiting season is autumn.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in rock crevices in shady and moist mountain areas.
