It is predicted that from 17:00 on July 15 to 20:00 on July 16, the city will experience heavy rainfall with hourly rainfall exceeding 30 mm. In some areas, rainfall will exceed 50 mm in 6 hours . Secondary disasters such as mountain torrents, mud and rock flows, and landslides induced by heavy rainfall may occur in mountainous and low-mountain areas. Water may accumulate in low-lying areas. According to the weather forecast released by Beijing Meteorological Observatory at 11:00: Beijing will be cloudy with moderate rain tonight, moderate to heavy rain in the western and northern parts, local heavy rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning , south wind level 1 or 2, and the lowest temperature will be 22℃. There will be significant rainfall from today to tomorrow evening, especially in the western and northern parts. Generally, from late July to early August, the northern edge of the summer monsoon advances to North China, and at the same time, the subtropical high pressure moves northward to 34°~38° north latitude. Water vapor is continuously transported northward through the southwest side of the subtropical high pressure. Once this warm and humid air flow meets the cold air moving eastward and southward, it is easy to form heavy and continuous precipitation. This is what the meteorological and flood control departments call "the end of July and the beginning of August."

"The end of July and the beginning of August" is the period with the most concentrated precipitation in my country.
