The principle of OK lenses

OK lenses, also known as orthokeratology lenses, originated in the United States. After more than 50 years of development, they have been used in many countries around the world.

It is a specially designed hard contact lens with a reverse geometric design that is flat in the center and steep around the periphery. Its unique reverse curved surface design changes the corneal curvature and shape during sleep, so that during the day, there is no need for additional optical correction and clear naked eye vision.

Features of OK lenses

(1) Prevent myopia from getting worse;

(2) It has a certain effect in reducing the refractive power of myopia, which can reduce or eliminate the need to wear glasses or contact lenses;

(3) Easy to operate and use. Wear at night and take off in the morning, no need to wear glasses during the day. It can meet various needs such as study, sports, work, etc.

(4) Other eye functions are not affected;

(5) Reshape corneal geometry and inhibit the rapid growth of the eye axis.

Which children are suitable for wearing OK lenses?

(1) Meet the age requirement, 8 years old or above;

(2) Myopia is between 100° and 600°, and astigmatism does not exceed 300 degrees;

(2) Children develop myopia at an early age and have poor naked eye vision, so the threshold for glasses can be relaxed to 75°;

If there are active eye diseases, uncured corneal inflammation or keratoconus, severe incomplete eyelid closure, etc., you cannot wear OK lenses. In addition, if the child's dry eyes are more serious, special attention should be paid to fitting OK lenses!
