The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from October 4, Shaanxi, eastern Sichuan, Chongqing, northern Guizhou, western Hubei, western Henan and other places will have a new round of rainfall. Some areas will have moderate to heavy rain, with local rainstorms. From 20:00 on October 2 to 20:00 on October 3, there will be light snow or sleet in the high-altitude areas along the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang, the western mountainous areas of southern Xinjiang, the high-altitude areas in northern and western Tibet, and the high-altitude areas in southern Qinghai.

Temperatures in some areas will hit record lows since autumn

From October 3 to 6, the temperature in northern North China and Northeast China will drop by 4 to 8℃. The local drop in the Northeast may exceed 10℃. The temperature in many areas will create a new low since autumn.

The maximum daily temperature in most parts of Northeast China, Inner Mongolia and the eastern part of Northwest China will be less than 20℃, and the minimum temperature at night will even be in single digits. It is expected that the minimum temperature in Shenyang from October 4th to 5th will be around 5℃, which may be the lowest temperature since autumn. You need to bring a coat when going out .

The temperature difference between day and night in most parts of Xinjiang, most parts of Qinghai, western Inner Mongolia and other places reaches more than 10℃. Ordinary outerwear can no longer resist the cold, and thick coats such as cotton coats must be taken out .

As the cold air gradually penetrates southward, the temperature along the Yangtze River and the Jiangnan region will also fluctuate in the second half of the holiday . The highest temperature in some areas may gradually drop to less than 20℃. At this time, mixing long and short sleeves is a good choice.

Parts of central and eastern Sichuan, western Chongqing and western Guizhou will experience a temperature drop of around 5°C. In these places, long sleeves will finally get a chance to appear near the end of the holiday .

The hot weather from southern Jiangnan to most areas of southern China will continue throughout the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday. Places like Guangzhou and Meizhou may still have high temperatures, so short-sleeved shirts will still be the main clothing.
