Astronauts' space suits must be able to withstand the test of extreme environments. During the development of space suits in my country, many innovative technologies and materials were born, and now they have been used in mass products. For example, antibacterial technology and antistatic technology not only make the clothing more comfortable, but also solve people's daily troubles; aerospace-grade temperature control and thermal insulation materials ensure a constant temperature experience, and are currently used in down jackets, outdoor cold-proof clothing and other clothing fields.

Diapers

Today, the "diapers" and adult diapers that make countless parents and adults feel convenient actually contain the wisdom of aerospace technology. Looking back at the journey of Gagarin, the first astronaut in human history, he once faced the dilemma of "urgent need to urinate". However, it was this "urgent need to urinate" that triggered a technological revolution. Tang Xinyuan, a Chinese scientist known as the "father of space suits", got inspiration from highly absorbent resins. He cleverly integrated polymer absorbents into space suits to produce diapers that can absorb water. Later, this technology was converted to civilian use and entered thousands of households.

During the creation of the Apollo lunar space suits, scientists invented an amazing process to create a space suit liner that could withstand huge pressure and be perfectly uniform. They heated the pressure-resistant soft material until it was soft, then placed it in a mold and injected high-pressure gas to form it. However, sports shoe manufacturers discovered that this process was not only suitable for space suits, but could also be used to make complete uppers, and the speed and efficiency were improved, so they began to widely adopt it, and the representative air cushion sports shoes became popular.

Later, a glasses manufacturer obtained the technical authorization and made sunglasses with a special plastic coating, which made its scratch resistance more than ten times stronger than ordinary glasses, and then gradually applied it to our daily life.
