3. Hemp seed has the effect of repairing the myocardium and has a repairing and health-care effect on heart damage.

The role of hemp seed:

1. Effect on the cardiovascular system: The alcohol-free hemp seed tincture was made into an emulsion and 2 g/kg was given intraduodenally to anesthetized cats. After half an hour, the blood pressure began to drop slowly, and after 2 hours it dropped to about half of the original level. There was no significant change in heart rate and respiration. When normal rats were gavaged with 2 and 10 g/kg, their blood pressure was significantly reduced. Hypertensive patients can also lower their blood pressure by taking it for 5-6 weeks without any adverse reactions. Domestic hemp seed varieties are the same as those produced in India, and their physiological effects are similar.

2. Laxative Hemp seed can stimulate the intestinal mucosa, increase secretion, accelerate peristalsis, and reduce water absorption by the large intestine, so it has a laxative effect. Gavage of 4 and 8g/kg Ma Ren Capsule and 4g/kg Ma Ren Pills and observation for 12 hours showed that both had a laxative effect on mice, with the former having a stronger effect; injection of 0.1ml each of Ma Ren Capsule (1:1, 1:0.5) and Ma Ren Pills (1:1) into the small intestine of toads and observation for 90 minutes showed that both had the effect of increasing intestinal contents.

3. Effect on serum cholesterol: 20 adult rats, weighing 190-240g, half male and half female, were selected. Each group had 10 rats, half male and half female. They were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group according to their body weight and serum cholesterol concentration. The control group was fed with a high-fat diet, and the experimental group was fed with 10% dried hemp seed sample in the high-fat diet. The results showed that hemp seed had a significant effect in preventing the increase of serum cholesterol in rats. During the experimental period, the serum cholesterol level was relatively stable for 4 weeks, and was significantly lower than that of the control group in the 3rd and 4th weeks (P<0.05).

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of the efficacy of hemp seed. When choosing it, we must also pay attention to using it according to the doctor's advice. This will be of great help in the treatment of the disease and prevent the disease from continuing to develop. Moreover, such drugs cannot be used for a long time and are very harmful to human health.
